Anthony Bonfiglio

Chief Technology Officer

Anthony “AB” Bonfiglio is Boston Globe Media’s chief technology officer, where he leads the IT, product and engineering teams in delivering business critical software. He has been at Boston Globe Media for over 7 years and is known for working across departments to bridge the gap between business and technology. 

Prior to arriving at BGMP, he worked at three technology startups and held several senior positions, including as vice president of engineering at Visible Measures, where he led a team of engineers who developed the organization’s cutting-edge ad technology.

The Methuen, Mass., native earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Boston University.
